Cunningham Arm, Fraser Island and Rigby Island for whiting on the incoming tide, best
results using pipis or small pieces of squid legs. Offshore at Six - Mile Reef are landing
snapper around the 50kg mark. Try pipeline for jackass and rubber lipped morwong.
Decent gummy shark can be found close to the beach.
At Mill Point and surrounding areas for good size bream and flathead. There are plenty of
salmon to be had, fishing is very good all-around this lake system.
The back water for perch, biting on vibes and plastics. Eagle Point heading down to the
river mouth for bream on cut crab, prawn and soft plastics.
Sardine Flat’s and along Sardine track are landing bream, using drifting prawn, spider
crab and soft plastics. Give Marshall’s Flats and The Three Gums a look as well.
Try the Strait Six, Car Bodies and The Two bridges for bream, best results on cut crab,
spider crab and floating prawn.
Shavings Point has whiting, taking pipis and worm, the town jetties are producing a good
variety of fish including bream. Box’s Creek also has bream using prawn, crab and soft
The Town jetties and The Strait are catching bream, best baits being prawn. There is
whiting to be had at Ocean Grange taking pipis, mussels, worm or squid legs.
No report due to ongoing weather conditions.
The rivers are still quite dirty, but the surf beaches are producing salmon and tailor.
Offshore are catching flathead, gummy shark and pinky snapper.

incoming tide for tailor.
There are still plenty of flathead in the bottom lake, using prawn or soft plastics. Surf
beaches for salmon on pilchards and poppers.
